Enuma Okoro is a Nigerian-American author, journalist, lecturer, and cultural curator. She is a weekly columnist for the Financial Times weekend newspaper. Her column, “The Art of Life,” reflects on how we live through the intersection of art, philosophy, spirituality/theology, culture, and knowledge accumulation and production. Her broader research and writing interests also include engaging intersectional feminism and contemplative eco-spirituality in the study of the human condition, social and creative praxis, and how we relate to the more-than-human.
She is convinced that stories, through their varying mediums, are how we challenge old narratives, free our imaginations, and tell new and expanded truths that shift perceptions and instigate change.
