“It’s been nice to be immersed in New York City architecture while I work,” says Lindsey Brittain Collins, a multimedia artist whose kaleidoscopic pieces often center architecture and urban design as agents of social and economic change. Collins is gesturing to her clear view of Hudson Yards and the rest of Manhattan’s westside from her studio on the northern end of the 28th floor of the Fumihiko Maki-designed 4 World Trade Center.
